# Glossary

> Terms you will see in the Partner API

## Terms

| Term                         | Meaning                                                                                                                                                |

| Accession ID                 | Scan's order `reference_id`. Radiology systems often reconcile on this. Exposed on procedure reads as `accession_id` and on the supply-side status API |

| Assignment of benefits (AOB) | A document assigning insurance benefits to a provider; returned in `documents[].aob` when available                                                    |
| Body part                    | Anatomic target of the procedure. Display string, not SNOMED                                                                                           |
| Contrast                     | `with_contrast`, `without_contrast`, or `without_and_with_contrast`                                                                                    |
| Courier                      | Scan's referring-provider portal. `POST /api/v2/auth/sso` mints a one-time URL                                                                         |
| CPT                          | Procedure code. Reads include `system` `http://www.ama-assn.org/go/cpt`                                                                                |
| ICD-10                       | Diagnosis code. Reads include `system` `http://hl7.org/fhir/sid/icd-10-cm`                                                                             |

## Field and status values

| Value                      | Meaning                                                                                                                                           |

| `co_signed`                | Visit status. Waiting for a required countersigned letter of protection                                                                           |
| `qc_report_ready`          | Visit status. Report has passed QC. This is the FHIR DiagnosticReport `final` mapping                                                             |
| `state_brand_abbreviation` | Create field. Which Scan-branded operation fulfills the case (for example `MA`). Required on create; pick the brand that covers the patient state |
